Autumn Career Fair

About the Autumn Career Fair

This year’s Autumn Career Fair took place from the 6 – 9 November, with a core purpose to unite students and employers under one roof. Each day was tailored to spotlight specific sectors, allowing students to access a variety of employers and discover the opportunities available to them.

We welcomed 102 local and international employers, including AEG Europe, The Ned, RSK Group, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Baily Garner LLP and InvestIn Education.

Capturing the event’s success

We are very pleased with the turnout and enthusiasm from all students and employers across the four days. We were particularly proud of the success at our Medway campus, given this was the first event of its kind to be hosted there. The day also coincided with National STEM Day, making it feel more special, you can take a look at our video here.

Consistent and timely communication with students was paramount for ensuring high attendance, and equally, relying on our established relationships with our partner employers helped ensure strong representation and a smooth run of show. You can watch our round-up video here.

Employer Feedback

On average, all employers surveyed rated their overall experience as a 4.45/5, and the top 3 keywords to describe our students were ‘interested’, ‘friendly’ and ‘inquisitive’.
