From a BA Hons in Early Years to an MA in Education, Annette Ledger talks us through her time at Greenwich
Annette decided to return to the University of Greenwich to study for her MA in Education as she says she had such a great learning experience previously when studying for a BA Hons in Early Years.
“Despite the unusual experience of studying during COVID-19, I found the course to be informative, motivating, and inspiring.” Annette told us. “It exceeded my expectations and I enjoyed having the opportunity for open discussion and it prompted lots of deep thought.” Annette went on to say that her lecturers were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and positive. “If I had a question, they would always take time for discussion and when deadlines were approaching, they were helpful and encouraging.” She revealed.
We asked Annette about her peers during her time studying for an MA in Education. “I was able to build friendships which was incredibly helpful because we could support one another and have further discussion outside of classes. It’s always great to know that others are in the same situation as you, especially when the workload increases.” She told us.
Now a qualified primary school teacher, Annette says that she is excited about where her new insight and skills will take her next.
“I would recommend this course because although it is hard work at times, it is well-balanced, and the tutors are fantastic. It has given me so much confidence personally and I have found my voice in education. If I had known the benefits of this course beforehand, I would not have hesitated to sign up.”
We thank Annette for sharing her story with us and wish her all the best for the future!
