During her course, she was pleasantly surprised by how welcome she was made to feel: "The lecturers have been incredibly friendly and encouraging and I have made a great group of friends that I meet before all of my university sessions." she says. The course is based at the Avery Hill campus surrounded by green spaces, located in Eltham, south-east London. It has first-rate teaching and sporting facilities, as well as student accommodation and is less than 30 minutes away from central London via train.

They have highlighted the significance of applying the theories and strategies I have learned, to real world scenarios". She goes on to say: "This has been highly beneficial to my professional development as I have been able to learn different ways to teach effectively and the placements have given me the opportunity to explore my passion to teach further".

Sarah aims to be a Primary School teacher when she graduates and hopes to take what she has learned from her time at Greenwich so that she can really make a difference, "I would highly recommend this course to any aspiring teachers because it fully supports your development in becoming a fantastic primary school teacher, through a great team of lecturers and the countless opportunities that are open to you throughout your degree."
