Some of London’s most satisfied mathematics students are to be found at the University of Greenwich, according to the Guardian League Table for 2022 which, for Mathematics courses in London, ranks Greenwich 1st for student satisfaction with the course, and also with feedback, and 2nd for student satisfaction with teaching. We’re also ranked 3rd in the UK in Mathematics for Student Satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2022.
The Mathematics Degrees at Greenwich strikes a balance between theory and practice, with a particular focus on employability and knowledge exchange. They offer many opportunities for students throughout their studies to meet employers, undertake a work placement or a teaching placement through its Undergraduate Ambassadors Scheme.
The Mathematics team and the knowledge exchange aspect of their degrees have been lauded by Professor Alan Champneys (University of Bristol) in the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) magazine Mathematics Today who wrote: "[The Greenwich Mathematics Degree] has long been regarded as an exemplar of enabling students to engage in knowledge exchange".
