The professional journey

In his first year, with invaluable support from Greenwich’s Employability and Careers Team, Rizwan secured an internship in a city law firm.

“After discovering the opportunity at a university event, the employability team guided me through the application and interview process.”

Rizwan highlights the practical skills he gained through his internship experience - from mock negotiations and project tasks to presentations and opportunities to network - and extensive transferable skills, all of which will support him through his university studies and beyond.

What’s next?

For Rizwan, Law is more than just a subject – it drives his ambitions. After his graduation, Rizwan aspires to complete an SQE exam to become a qualified commercial solicitor to achieve his dreams of pursuing a career in a city law firm!
