We have an incredible story. As Woolwich Polytechnic, we first opened to students in October 1891. The ambition and determination of our founder, Francis Didden, to improve the prospects of his local community is one of many stories that illustrate both our past and present.
There are many more stories we want to tell.
Through Greenwich Portraits, we showcase a wide range of talented members of the Greenwich community. The award-winning series celebrates the varied journeys of current students and alumni, celebrates our heritage, and reminds our students of what they have to look forward to after they finished their studies.
Greenwich Snapshots is another platform to share your stories with our community of students, alumni and staff. They capture the spirit of Greenwich and our predecessor institutions and bring to life the many journeys that our graduates take.
