Facilities at Avery Hill Campus
The campus is renowned for its excellent teaching and sporting facilities. We have recently invested £14 million into two new buildings, four clinical skills laboratories, and two floodlit, all-weather sport pitches at Avery Hill Campus.
It's the place to study if you're considering a career in nursing, medicine, or social work, with a huge health and social care teaching space on campus. Our clinical skills laboratories are designed to replicate NHS wards. It's here that trainee health professionals gain the practical experience they need for real health care environments.
If you're interested in a sports-related career, the David Fussey Building is home to a sports and teaching centre, with a multi-purpose sports hall and a 220-seat lecture theatre. You can also take advantage of our strong partnerships with Charlton Athletic FC, whose training ground is based next to the campus.
Student life at Avery Hill Campus

There are plenty of pubs, clubs, and restaurants in nearby Eltham. You can also head to the Broadway Shopping Centre in Bexleyheath, or take a bus to Bluewater - one of Europe's largest shopping and leisure centres.
If you're looking for some sporting action, you can watch Charlton Athletic Football Club play at The Valley, or visit Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, which hosts a number of high-profile athletics events.
